Forest Resources

FOREST RESOURCES : forest and wild life are essential for ecological balance. Forest are an important components of our environment and economy. Besides economy, forests check air pollution and soil erosion, they save the hill- slopes from landslides and in desert, trees reduce wind erosion by checking wind velocity. Forests attract rainfall too.                                             Forest are important renewable natural resources. Forest ecosystem is dominated by trees, their species content vary in different parts of the world.Forests contribute substantially to the economic development of a country by providing goods and services to the people and industry. They also play an important role in enhancing the quality of environment by influencing the life supporting system. Forests are also linked with our culture and civilization. The chief product that forests sup...

The First law Of Thermodynamics

Image
It states that the amount of energy in the universe is constant. It may change from one from to another, but it can neither be created nor destroyed. Light energy can neither be created nor be destroyed as it passes through the atmosphere. It may, however, be transformed into another type of energy, as chemical energy or heat energy. These forms of energy can be transformed into electromagnetic radiation which is the sum total of increase in the internal energy and work done.

PLASTICS

Image
In the present day the application of plastics is wide as compared to traditional material such as metal, plastics offer impressive advantages over metals. They atr listed below: 1- They are not subjected to corrosion. 2- Light in weight with good strength to weight ratio. 3- Cost effective 4- Less cycle time for production. 5- Unique design freedom. 6- Good mechanical, electrical and chemical properties. 7- They are available in wide range of colours. 8- Reduced assembly time. In addition to it each plastic material offers some special property which serves a particular application or can be made to do so by the incorporation of suitable additives with the plastic materials.

EJECTION SYSTEM

Image
The thermoplastic material after cooling  sticks on core  or projected portion of the mould due to shrinkage. As per the injection moulding machine design, the ejection rod is provided in the moving side of the machine. It means that the ejection system in the mould is incorporated in the moving half of mold and the core as projection portion of the mould is generally fitted in moving side of the mould. due to some mechanism like link bolt, knockout rod movement, the ejector plate moves forward and this makes the ejector pins or system to eject the components. 1- ejection system consist of following : 2- Types of ejection like pins, step pins, valve pins, stripper plate etc. 3- Ejector plate assembly consist of two plate,i.e, ejector plate and ejector back plate 4- Ejector grid place for the ejector assembly 5- Sprue puller for pulling the sprue from sprue bush button

Clock Speed In Computers

Image
There are two cycles that occurs during the processing of each program instruction. These are instruction cycle and execution cycle. These cycles are syncronized by a specific number of a electrical pulses produced by an electronic clock that is built into the processor. Therefore, the speed with which an instruction is executed is also directly related to the chips clock speed i.e, the number of pulses it uses each second. cycle time is the required to execute a basic operation.

CPU (Central Processing Unit)

Image
The cpu is the component of a computer with circuitry to control the interpretation and execution of instructions. It performs the process part of  INPUT-PROCESS-OUTPUT cycle. In microcomputer, the components of the cpu are mounted on the main circuit board, called the motherboard. A microprocessor chip contains the circuit and special storage locations called registers - needed to perform the arithmetic-logic and control functions.                                                              The various components on the main circuit board of the personal computer processor unit are linked together by sets of parallel electrical conducting lined called buses. Different collections of these internal bus lines are used for different purpose and are given different names. These internal buses also provide an electrical intercon...
